Taylor fell in love with the area when he first came to attend Wewahitchka High School in the late 60’s. He took every opportunity to visit Gulf & Franklin Counties throughout his vast career with hopes of one day settling in this Forgotten Coast he could never forget. When given the opportunity to join the Gulf Coast Real Estate Group, he saw the opportunity to live his dream and relay this dream to others looking to relocate or upgrade their lives in this most amazing area.
Taylor graduated from The University of Florida in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Real Estate and Urban Land Studies. He has been a licensed real estate broker since 1981, as well as being a FHA approved certified real estate appraiser for over 25 years. Taylor also served over 20 years as a member of the West Memphis, AR Planning Commission, serving 3 terms as Chairman.
Taylor founded Crews Appraisal Company in 1985 in the Memphis, Tennessee area before selling his successful business in 2007. He stayed on as Senior Appraiser until June of 2012. He was also the managing partner of Crews Farms, a large family farm producing rice and soybeans, until it sold in 2012.
Taylor is now totally focused on making a difference in the real estate experience, and gains personal satisfaction from helping his clients reach their dreams of home ownership or of selling and moving on to life's next adventure.
While all of the skills and knowledge employed in handling a real estate transaction are vital to success, Taylor believes the first step in helping either a buyer or a seller is to understand their wants, needs and goals. That requires listening, asking the right questions, and of course, providing clear and honest answers to those questions.
At the heart of Taylor's real estate practice you'll find that he’s dedicated to his clients, determined to meet their needs, and available whenever they need him.
